Promoting Evidence-based Assistive Technology And Supports

As part of the 2024-25 Budget the Government committed $45.5 million over four years from 2024–25 to establish a NDIS Evidence Advisory Committee. The NDIS Evidence Advisory Committee will provide independent, expert advice on disability supports including assistive technology. This incorporates and builds on the previous 2023-24 Budget commitment to co-design an expert advisory panel for Assistive Technology.

Further information on engagement opportunities regarding the establishment and implementation of the NDIS Evidence Advisory Committee will be provided on DSS Engage in 2024.
