The Australian Government is looking for expressions of interests from parents and caregivers across the country to join the Parents and Carers Reference Group (PCRG).

The PCRG is being established following the release of the Early Years Strategy 2024–2034 (the Strategy), which explains how the government aims to support children and their families in a child’s early years.

To support the strategy, members of the PCRG will be given the opportunity to have a say on what the government is doing to support our youngest children and allow the government to hear directly from parents and caregivers on what matters to them.

We are currently seeking nominations from parents and carergivers to join the PCRG through an open expression of interest process.

Successful nominees will be appointed by the Minister for Social Services, the Hon Amanda Rishworth MP.

Applications will close at 11:59pm on 3 September 2024.
