Developing the National Housing and Homelessness Plan – Public Consultations
Public consultations will take place in each State and Territory.
The department has partnered with engagement specialists, The Social Deck, to assist with the consultations and stakeholder engagement activities. Specialist services will support the delivery of trauma informed, accessible and culturally safe consultations.
Face-to-face Community Forums will be run in some locations across Australia. There are also two online webinars for those unable to attend an event in person.
You can register to attend an event using the links provided in the schedule below. Due to venue capacity, places at the Community Forums are limited. If you miss out on securing a ticket, you can request to be put on the waiting list when you register.

Out of respect for the Indigenous leaders who have called for a week of silence following the results of the Voice referendum, DSS is postponing the consultation events for the National Housing and Homelessness Plan scheduled for the Northern Territory this week.
We are working to reschedule these events and the schedule will be updated when details are available.
