With challenges that face PWD in seeking employment it is important that no business should use a PWD to gain financially from government subsidies. Meaning that if government wage subsidy programs are there to support the employer for a period of time that the business must then continue to keep that employee on after the wage subsidy from government ends. Clauses must be put in place to stop businesses rorting this system and to ensure that those employees with disability are protected and supported in their employment.
