You need more than strong role models. You need employers, supervisors, & fellow employees to understand someone’s disability, regardless if it is physical or mental.

People understand injuries that are detectable by their five senses. People do not understand that someone who can not control the speed at which they work & being told to work faster is similar to telling someone with a broken leg to run.

The sad truth is that employers & supervisors don’t care & the employee loses their job. Access to free & quality advocates as well as free & quality lawyers for those who can not afford either one.
