Carers need a broad spectrum of help. It should be extra financial help as well as respite assistance. We would actually like to go on a break with the person we care for to share enjoyment with them with the help of a support worker but with NDIS coming this seems a far off dream even though we are funded for exactly that at the moment. I would love to chat to you more but I have to go and care now for my son.
