Challenges faced by Carers are 24/7. Some relief only comes in the form of help and support from groups offering meetings with like-minded carers where we can speak candidly about the person we care for and share with those who understand. These groups need a chair person who can arrange speakers from various organisations both light-hearted and Government information , which is constantly changing.
Carers also enjoy outings, lunches and the company of others, which requires funding from the Government purse!!
On a personal note-the co-ordinator we have had at HHRCC has offered all the above and more. I wish it to remain the same.
