Expression of interest form for the Disability-informed Ethical Oversight Panel and Disability Data Development Scoping Panel
The Department of Social Services (DSS) is seeking expressions of interest for joining panels for the National Disability Data Asset. If agreed to by the National Disability Data Asset Council (Council), these panels would form in 2024 and provide support to the Council.
The National Disability Data Asset will be co-governed by governments and the disability community. This means that the disability community will be involved in decisions about the disability data asset. One way the disability data asset will be co-governed is through the Council. The role of the Council is to make sure the disability data asset is used correctly and only for purposes that align with community expectations.
Another way the disability data asset will be co-governed is through panels that guide the Council on specific topics.
DSS is looking for panel members for the planned Disability-informed Ethical Oversight Panel and Disability Data Development Scoping Panel. More information on both panels is available in the Panels Information Pack and is also available in Auslan and Easy Read.
Non-government members will be renumerated for their time as guided by the Remuneration Tribunal (Remuneration and Allowances for Holders of Part‑time Public Office) Determination (No. 2) 2023.
To express an interest in joining either or both panel, please complete this expression of interest form with your details and include a copy of your resume outlining your relevant skills and experience.
If you need help to submit your expression of interest form please email email@example.com. Accessible materials and adjustments will also be available during the application process and to support people to participate in panels.
