As a young woman with Asperger’s I think their needs to be a proper system in place to help people with disabilities advocate for their rights. The ndis sadly doesn’t give people with disabilities many choices due to support workers feeling the need to control and bully their clients. I am high functioning but I have experienced a lot of verbal abuse and manipulation from support staff stripping people such as myself of their rights and freedoms.
