Person with disability

I am the mother of an adult child with severe intellectual disability who cannot communicate with spoken language.

The only time that I have ever requested advocacy for my son from People With Disability Australia and NSW Council for Intellectual Disability Australia they each refused based on their views on special education.

I wish to entirely endorse every statement in each of the attached submissions by OurVoice Australia, Mary Lou Carter and Donna McAleese because they entirely apply to my son, my family and to me.
