We need specific funding to have a planner sit down with us and write our plan. We are time poor due to hospitalisations and the complexity of our caring role which is providing nursing support to our child who does not attend school and cannot be left alone. We have serious emergencies here on a weekly basis and we are exhausted and have no skills to write the plan we need for negotiations with NDIS planners once we meet. WE NEED HELP. Just a couple of weeks ago we had 5 emergency runs to hospital in a week. Seminars that only tell us the good and not te bad of the NDIS rollout are nothing more than PR exercises. We need help so we don’t fall through a crack. That help must be practical in terms of helping develop a plan for presentation based on our childs needs.
