I would like to see the continuation of non diagnostic framework to NDIS which is based on level of ability and disability rather than diagnosis . My child with ADHD is declined assistance on diagnosis of a medical condition which can be treated with medication , but many other people on the NDIS with a condition are also treated with medication and still receive services.

I would also like a measure of cost effectiveness – I do feel there is still cost efficiencies to be made and further balance of funding between recipients .. the cost of 24/7 Sils for one person is sometimes as expensive as hospital and surely other models of care are more appropriate.

I also feel there is age discrimination and the gap between what a 63 year old is offered on NDIS compared to a 65 in the aged care system is beyond belief and needs to be reconsidered.
