The timeframe for feedback on the NDIS legislation ACT did not provide the opportunity engage with the deafblind sector particularly those who have communication requirements to understand the legalisation and changes to the acts. Deafblind Australia encourages NDIA policy makers to include people with disabilities to ensure the scheme is accessible to meet the complex needs of participants with deafblindness.
