As a parent and nominee for both sons I am concerned that the NDIA is not following their values and objectives. There has been no consultation with me regarding my sons reviews and I have seen firsthand that the LAC or delegate have written their own goals into plans to suit their own narrative rather than the ndis clients. Cutting back on funding where we have had to go to the AAT to appeal does not represent value for money when the NDIA would rather pay private law firms for representation instead of using the money to fund much needed therapies and supports for those vulnerable in the community that need these services. As a tax payer this is appalling and the system needs to be scrutinised from every level and a complete overhaul!
