The Future of Supported Employment Discussion Paper – Consultation Summary Report

Between August and September 2023, the Department of Social Services undertook consultation with a broad range of stakeholders to inform the development of the 2023-24 Supported Employment Budget initiatives.

The Future of Supported Employment Consultation Summary Report summarises feedback from:

• 48 written submissions, including several responses written on behalf of multiple organisations,
• 13 meetings with key stakeholders, including two workshops with people with intellectual disability (or other high support needs), and
• 1 workshop with families and carers of supported employees.
