I would like to see my son who has High functioning autism be supported by a person in the workforce, to see if he really likes the environment. He wants to be able to work with timber or build cupboards and work with machinery. Not sure if he would be happily suited in this environment because of noise, dust, heat, but I would encourage employers to give him a few days to work along side someone and learn what he would do in a days work in the industry
