Summary:
We are aiming to increase the effectiveness of student aptitude for university study and their specific course selection. There is clear evidence that completing higher education has a positive impact – graduates have higher employment rates (and hence, a lower reliance on welfare) than non-graduates.

Our idea is to use data analytics to expand upon the student selection criteria for course admission and ultimately improve the effectiveness of the course allocation process and hence success of admitted students. We intend to achieve this through a collaborative work stream and pilot between Macquarie University and Quantium.
