Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021-2031: Consultation to inform the Strategy Guides – Making sure people with disability are involved in evaluation

Help shape the way governments, businesses & the community ensure that their policies, programs & services meet the needs of people with disability.

Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021–2031 (the Strategy) is a national plan to improve the lives of people with disability. The Strategy was developed by all levels of government and with people with disability, their families, carers and representatives. It took two years of consultation to develop. The Strategy is available on the Disability Gateway.

Under this plan, the Government will write a guide about evaluations. This guide will make sure people with disability are included in evaluations about policies, programs and services that are important to people with disability.

Evaluations can help the Government know what is working well and how to improve things for people with disability.
