2024-25 Budget Disability Employment Reform event
The Minister for Social Services, the Hon. Amanda Rishworth, and the Department of Social Services held a post-Budget briefing on the new specialist disability employment program following the 2024-25 Budget announcements related to Disability Employment Reforms on 23 May 2024.
Here’s what the event included:
- A keynote speech – provided by the Honourable Amanda Rishworth MP, Minister for Social Services. It includes the vision for the new disability employment program and how it will impact participants, employers and service providers.
- Presentations – into the program by departmental representatives Ms Robyn Shannon, Deputy Secretary, Disability and Carers and Ms Kellie Spence, Group Manager, Disability Employment Group.
- A Q and A session – with speakers.
