General supports: Questionnaire
Thank you for your interest in this questionnaire about General Supports. This questionnaire closes on November 30.
Governments are working together to design and deliver additional supports in the community. These are known as Foundational Supports.
These are specific supports that are additional to mainstream services and supports accessed through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). These supports will help people with disability, and their families, carers and kin in a number of important areas that we know will make a big difference.
This questionnaire is about General Supports. There will be future opportunities to have your say about other types of Foundational Supports in the future.
General Supports focus on:
- information and advice
- self-advocacy
- peer supports
- capacity building
In relation to these areas, we want to know what types of supports are most helpful and what supports you think are needed most.
We suggest you refer to the General Supports Consultation Paper [PDF 1.3 MB] or [WORD 979 kB] when you are completing this questionnaire. Some information from the paper is included in the introduction to the questions.
