We would like to submit the following for your consideration:-
Subject- Severe and persistent mental illness with complex needs.

The proposal is that following a Professional Needs Assessment and a Wellness Recovery Action Plan has been developed and costed the individual will then be given the opportunity to chose how to access those supports, whether through 1) a direct service provider agreement or 2)to access the supports by accessing outreach services of choice.

Access to work shouldn’t only be an employer domain.
The individuals should be given the opportunity to make their own choices about the type of work that they like.
They need to be provided with a choice about how they intend to meaningfully participate in work and the type of employment most suited to their particular circumstances prevailing at that specific time in their life, as long as its an agreement reached by mutual consent.
