General Supports
Governments are working together to design and deliver additional supports in the community. These are known as Foundational Supports. They are specific supports that are additional to mainstream services and supports accessed through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
We want to know your ideas on General Supports.
General Supports are available to help all people with disability. That means people who are accessing the NDIS and those who are not.
It includes things like helping people to develop the knowledge and skills they need to fully participate in the community and to make decisions on issues that impact them. This could include things like peer support and finding the right services at the right time.
